Privacy, in plain language.

Operator review required before public launch. This notice describes the implemented defaults; the operator must add its identity, lawful basis, contacts, local-law review and any changes to retention.

What we process

Random session identifiers, age acknowledgement timestamp, selected mode, language, self-declared region, connection metadata, ephemeral messages, blocks and reports. We store a one-way hash of session tokens and a rotating pseudonymous IP-based abuse-control value. We do not automatically record public calls or capture screenshots.

How calls connect

Camera and microphone media travels directly between peers when networking allows, or through the operator’s configured TURN relay. PHP handles matchmaking, signaling and text messages. Your partner can learn your IP address through direct connections. IP addresses may also appear in your hosting provider’s access logs; the operator must configure its log policy separately.

Optional music

Discography is off until you select a track. Choosing music loads an embedded YouTube player and shares connection information and the site origin with YouTube/Google. Music plays on your device and is not added to your call media or recorded by the app. Turn music off using the Discography controls.

Retention

Guest credentials expire after 2 hours by default. Text messages expire after 1 hour; signaling expires after 2 minutes. Blocks last 24 hours. Reports and administrative audits are retained for up to 90 days. Request-time cleanup runs in bounded batches; physical deletion can lag until maintenance runs. Expired guest records become eligible for deletion after a further 24 hours. Backups require an operator-controlled expiry policy.

Media Studio

Guest invitations and studio accounts are private. Recording requires separate, withdrawable recording and distribution decisions from both participants. Browser recordings download to the operator’s device and are not automatically uploaded or archived. Once a file is downloaded or a broadcast is externally published, withdrawal cannot automatically recall copies. Private production notes are excluded from program output.

Your choices

Use Text to avoid media access. Stop ends your call and device tracks. Contact the operator for access, correction, deletion, retention questions or complaints. Session deletion does not automatically erase reports needed for safeguarding or permitted retention.
